The Centre is the best choice to host educational study visits in Romania for educators, education officers and decision-makers from former communist countries. Based on prior experiences - study visits organised for the interim education authority of Kosovo (2000), the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and for the Tajik Ministry of Education, the Centre Education 2000+ has the proper professional framework to organise such events:
- It creates the concept and the schedule of the study visit (according to interests of the guests and officials that are involved in the project);
- Determines, by mutual agreement with the beneficiaries, the purpose of the visit, and specialised consultants provide the meeting profile according to the purpose;
- Organises meetings and activities for the beneficiaries;
- Offers information materials, with the possibility of translating them into English, French and Russian;
- Offers support to the guests and solve any requests that may appear during the visit;
- Provides support for all the events organised during the study visit;
- Provides logistical support;
- Prepares the financial and informative report of the study visit.
The Center Education 2000+ recommends that study visits be organised for a period between 6 and 9 days. Study and Training visits will also include a cultural programme, courtesy of the organisers.
In order to better understand the priority and the manner in which the reform of education was done in Romania, the Center Education 2000+ provides meetings with representatives of the institutions and organisations involved at all levels of the educational system, such as the Ministry of Education, the National Curriculum Council, the National Evaluation and Examination Service, the National Centre for the Training of Pre-university Education Staff, the National Council for School Manuals, the World Bank Romanian Mission.
The Centre Education 2000+ has a rich database that includes reference documents on the education reform in Romania, which it can make available to participants in an international language or their own native language.
Within the Study and Training Visits organised by the Centre Education 2000+, participants will be able to use a study room, fitted with modern equipment. Centre specialists will make presentations if requested by the participants in various educational fields: education system - general framework, educational policies, initial and continuing education system - new approaches, educational project management, European integration - an educational perspective, communication and public relations in relation with education.
