Career guides development for career advisers’ training

Course summary

The course is a practical writing exercise wich combines participant’s knowledge with knowledge and experience of Educatia 2000+. It aims empower participants produce customized tools usable in training career advisers and/or doing adviser’s work in an employment office, a school, vocational school, any place where citizens are faced with the need to find a workplace, change career path, escape long term unemployment.

The course includes intro and writing sessions followed by the presentation and evaluation of individual career gides for career advisers. The Course is preceeded by individual information and documentation on similar instruments in the country of origin, and will b followed by communication by e-mail to exchange experience in the field
The training provider will make available „My career Guide” ,as well as „Counselling and guidance in schools” as well as a wealth of examples from their own experience
The course will consist of 30 hours training.
The trainees will receive a certificate of participation, all materials produced during the course and by Educatia 2000+ as specified above.

Target groups : teachers in vocational and adult education, teacher trainers, career officers, educational guides and counsellors, headteachers/pricipals/managers of schools offering adult education, members of student/teachers councils in adult education

Trainers :

Elena Salomia – Master degree in public politics and public administration with a module of career counselling; 9 years of professional experience in education; 5 years of professional experience as trainer and consultant in education; 5 years of international experience in educational projects; member of the technical assistance team for the Rural Education Project (co-financed by the Romanian Government and World Bank) on sub-component “School-based professional development of teachers” (2004 – present); author of learning and training materials for adults, teachers, teenagers and books on education and training.

Marcela Marcinschi – MD in school counselling and MD in public and administration politics and information and career counselling; 10 years of professional experience in children education in rural area; 7 years of professional experience in children, adolescents, parents and teachers school counselling; educational consultant and trainer for center education 2000+; 2 years of international experience in training for teenagers; member of the technical assistance team for the Rural Education Project (co-financed by the Romanian Government and World Bank) on sub-component and “School-based professional development of teachers” (2004 – present); author of training materials and books on education and training.
